Robbie has over 30 years wide ranging business experience and is an experienced High Growth Coach and Mentor, primarily focused on Strategy, Leadership Personal Development and Coaching to improve business outcomes.
Strategic Management– Assists clients across all sectors, typically with a turnover between £500,000 and £50m, formulate review and implement their business strategies and plans.
Business Growth Coaching – Member of the national team of business growth coaches for the Government’s GrowthAccelerator programme providing high growth coaching and support to organisations able to demonstrate their potential to grow by 20% per year for three years.
Operational Management – Assists and support clients with their business development and implementation of business and marketing plans with clear objectives and accountabilities.
Leadership Development – Specialises in enabling leadership excellence via a unique process that delivers outstanding success.
Change Management, and Business Process Development – Leads transformational change management programmes, from strategic analysis to implementation.
Business Analysis – Assists clients to identify business /service needs and determine solutions to problems.
Project Management – A PRINCE2 Practitioner, with over twenty five years project management experience of implementing change in complex, multi-organisational change programmes in a variety of both private and public sector organisations
Event Management – Has a wealth of experience of initiating, negotiating, planning and project managing events of a business, sporting or cultural nature.
Has worked with a software development company to help them improve and develop the personal leadership skills of their directors and IT Support Company to assist with their marketing.
Currently working with an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) to help them grow their business by 50% in the next 12 months.
Leisure and Community Services:
Has 35+ years’ experience at a strategic and operational level of working in this sector including the development and implementation of strategies, business plans / cases for new and refurbished facilities, the project management of the associated building projects and the formulation of contracts and specifications for the management of leisure and cultural facilities.
Recently completed an assignment with Worcester City Council as an Interim Project Manager responsible for the: –
- Development, procurement and management of a detailed feasibility study and outline planning application for the construction of a new swimming pool complex. As a result of the feasibility study the Council committed £10.5 million for the project.
- Procurement and management of Lead Consultant and Design Team to further develop the new Swimming pool design concepts to the stage where tenders can be sought for suitable contractors to construct the new swimming complex.
- Negotiation of a contract improvement and extension for the existing Leisure Management Contractor to enable the Council to rationalise all of its existing leisure facilities into one contract to coincide with the opening of the new swimming pool.
- Instigation and delivery of a strategic review of the operation of the Council’s sports and leisure facilities.
Currently working with Worcester City Council, a specialist Procurement Company, a First Aid Training Company, an IT Recruitment Agency, a local Magazine Company, a Confidence, Lifestyle, Personal and Career Development Coaching Company and have worked with an Architects Practice, Manufacturing Companies and a First Aid Training Company to help them grow their businesses.
